Why We Love ‘Em
Kelly and Ally Greer are our favorite community managers. We see the “battle for community” as being the NEXT BIG THING. You would be wise to have a community manager as creative, on top of the next trend and nice as Kelly.
Kelly is a natural collaborator. When she asked Marty to guest post for Paper.li’s community blog he said it was an easy YES. “Love working with Kelly and the Paper.li team because they are so proactive, so interested in supporting their members,” Marty shared.
Paper.li, if you don’t know it, is one of our favorite “get more done with LESS, social media marketing tools. Paper.li’s benefits include (but are in no way limited to):
- Depreciates Twitter content lowering content creation costs.
- Creates community with least amount of effort.
- Can be tuned to watch your North 40 for ORM (Online Reputation Management.
Paper.li is a great and vastly under utilized tool. Kelly creates another winning dimension for the geniuses behind the tool – a community manager who understands that social companies need to be social (what a concept lol). Kelly is PRESENT on social media, easy to reach and responsive. We hope, when it comes time to hire our community manager, we are as lucky as our friends running Paper.li.
Marty’s Favorite Thing
I love working with Kelly. When I dumped 3x as many words on her as she asked for, this was when she asked me to guest post for the Paper.li community, she was supportive and thankful turning my post into a two part series.
Sounds like a small thing, but you would be surprised. No wonder many of my friends and other Top Content Curators such as Cendrine Marrouat and Karen Dietz (profile to come) love working with Kelly and the Paper.li community too.
I love working with people who are thinking about you even when you aren’t asking for something (lol). I’m a famous “asker”, but Kelly is so proactive, full of great ideas and helpful there is never time to ask. She is always two steps ahead in finding ways to help you. Can you have too many of those kinds of people in your life? Answer: NO WAY :). Marty
